More MiMi

I went away for my annual "Mom's Weekend" getaway. I wasn't inspired to do any of the things that "need" to be done, but I did do a couple of projects I always wanted to decorate (tin & comp.book) and it only seems fitting to have a matching clipboard. I only did the paper part-didn't personalize them yet. These pretty papers sure do most of the work w/ these projects. The paper is just so darn pretty.

MiMi Hostess Purse

I made this purse for my hostess for a party I did a few weeks ago. I used TAC's Mimi paper. It's a great pattern-you use 1 piece of pattern 12x12 paper to make the purse and cards. The directions for the purse were from KathieMcguire.com.
Stamp sets used: Spring Dream, Basic Birds, More Abundance, Running Stitches.

It is a recent project-I hate my camera!!

Gerbera Daisy Card

I made this card today for my MIL. The poor thing is in the hospital again. She's been in and out for 4yrs now. It's so sad.

I used TAC's Gerbera Daisy, Running stitches, Curls & Swirls, and Tag tidbits. I also used the earth tones chalk kit that TAC carries. The little tag is from a Cuttlebug die and for inks I used Java chip(nah that's a frapp. my friend Michael got me hooked on) I used Jumbo Java and Eggplant VersaMargic pads.

Thanks for looking.

More Hemingway

I was making a Hostess gift for my friends party and she loves TAC's Hemingway Paper too, so I made her a card using the Hemingway collection, the asst. bitty blossoms, my biggest "go to" set right now-Curls & Swirls, and the More abundance set. The clip decorated w/ the Hemingway paper has a little "M" hanging from it-that's using a new alphabet Paint-chipped mini set. And the bracelet even has the Hemingway paper in the homemade beads.
I may have mentioned this once or twice in my short blogging time, but I just love this paper collection!!!

Halloween Envy

Here's a little Halloween treat envelope. The original idea was so cute and had some tea packets, but I'm always looking for cute ways to present kids treats or something to add a little touch for bake sale items.
This uses TAC's Simply Spooky paper and their Too Spooky stamp set.
You just have to adhere the envelope shut and then cute the "handle" by cutting out a "rectangle"- I guess from each side of one end of the envelope. Hope that makes sense.

Ps.-I did just make this recently. My stupid camera keeps changing the date on me.

Perky Penguins

I'm finally using another pack of paper. This Cha Cha paper is so fun and versatile for all seasons and again I love how TAC has matching hardware and ribbons. The hardest part of stamping now is to pick what stamp I want to use. I'm totally not ready for winter, but I have a FunShop coming up and wanted to play w/ my new stamps to make some samples. The set I used is another hostess set-it's Perky Penguins. I'm not sure if you can tell from the scan, but I cut 1 inch off the right side of the card and then had the ribbons and image hang over a bit just for a little different look.
Thanks for looking!

Fall is in the air

Here's a fall card I made using one of TAC' s level "B" hostess sets and the curls and swirls set that I find myself using quite a bit. Didn't think I was a "curly girl"(besides my curly hair), but they're addicting.

It's always springtime

It's always springtime is the name of the set I used for this card. I forgot I made this one. I just love this Hemingway paper-as you can probably tell, since it's the same colors I used on the last card. This stamp set was specifically made for one of our square punches, so you get just the right edge. Love that! Another thing I love is how TAC matched their awesome pattern paper with solid papers, ribbons and hardware. Although, I didn't use the hardware from that collection- I used the creme turn arounds and antique safety pins.

My First Post

Wow, I can't believe I'm starting a blog. I have no idea what to do or say. My intentions are to share my paper crafting projects-I guess I'll start w/ that. Here's a cute little 4" circle card I made using a scrap sketch. I used products from the new fall/winter TAC catalogue. I'm an Independent Demonstrator for this company and am so excited and happy w/ this new catalogue. This card uses our new Hemingway paper and the stamp is called "half cracked".
